Hey, I’m Scott! I’ve been in the mortgage business for over 20 years, helping people finance everything from their first homes to vacation properties and investment deals. I’ve lived in the Tidewater area my whole life—grew up in Norfolk, now live in Virginia Beach with my wife and three kids—so I know this market inside and out.

When I first started in the industry back in 2001, I really focused on first-time homebuyer programs. Because of that, I wasn’t caught up in the subprime lending craze, which ended up being a huge advantage when the 2008 market crash hit. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise to cover just about every type of financing, Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Construction loans, you name it, I’ve probably worked on it.

I take a straight-shooter approach with my clients. I want you to feel comfortable with the process, understand your options, and have a plan that makes sense for your situation. My goal isn’t to push you into the biggest loan possible, it’s to make sure you’re set up for long-term success with a payment that works for you.

When I’m not working, a few hobbies of mine, the love of baseball, surfing, and geeking out over the latest tech. I love what I do, and I’m always happy to help, whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, or making a big move.
