Manny, a lifetime resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, graduated from Norfolk State University where he excelled at both baseball and football. An active member of his community, Manny referees college basketball for each of the four conferences. Manny and his wife, Yvonne currently reside in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake where they raised their two sons, B.J. and Justin.
