About Elagene

Elagene has lived on Hilton Head Island for 34 years and has been in the banking/mortgage industry for the past 30 years.   Having previously managed both major bank and mortgage offices, Elagene has earned a reputation for providing outstanding service to current and first time homebuyers in the Low Country of South Carolina.

An active member of her community, Elagene served as President and board member of the Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island, a service club that benefits the welfare of women and children worldwide.  A past President and member of the Mortgage Lenders Association of Hilton Head for 25 years, Elagene has served on multiple committees for the Hilton Head Island Association of Realtors.  She has also served on the board of the Seahawks Theater Guild for the past 10 years as well as serving as the former Minister of Music at First Baptist Church on Hilton Head and Bluffton.

Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Elagene taught high school music for 8 years.  She has one son, Ryan, who currently lives and works in New York City.
